Purple Posies

I've been dying to work with this gorgeous 

Amy Butler fabric, GYPSY CARAVAN.

I could've gone so many ways with this doll. I chose to really 

emphasize the lavender hues. 

 I think I'll try another twist the next go around.

The weather has been odd lately. 

A little bit of May gray in the skies (a day early). 

Here's hoping your Monday is filled with nothing but sunshine.

Tattered Treasures

 

Little 'C' is growing up so quickly.

This picture just tugs at my heart strings.

                                     

I can see the love she has for her dolly...

just look at that tattered hair.

It's these moments when I realize that a simple little
creation can bring a lifetime of memories.

A laugh, a cry...whenever we need a good hug. 

If you can't have your sister, at least you still have your dolly!

Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

These little cuties will be added to my shop later today.
I love all three of them and wish I could hold on to them.

New in Town

Inspired by two of my favorite garden plants,
Cassidy is as sweet as they come.

She's a beautiful combination of sea blue and soft pinks.

I almost got carried away with the Hydrangea blossoms.

I kept adding and adding until I got it just the way I wanted.

She'll be making her way to my shop Wednesday along with a couple
of friends.

For the Love of Lavender

My heart went pitter patter yesterday when I came across this new
line of fabric by Riley Blake called PROMENADE.

I can't tell you how many requests I get for lilac, lavender
and purple fabrics and how often I
struggle to find something worthy of creating with.

This grouping is AMAZING!

It's a mix of golds, lavenders, lilacs, blues and creams.
So dreamy. You'll find it at The Fat Quarter Shop as well as other
various ETSY stores. I bet you'll love it just as much as I do.
