I've always admired Japanese Kokeshi art dolls. These are some of my favorite images.

Surf, Sand and Snuggles...

I think baby Mitchell and his mommy are going to have many cuddles and snuggles on this little pillow. Dreaming of flowing palm trees and white sandy beaches.

This was definitely a labor of love!

Summer Surfin'

I'm so excited for my latest project. I thought I'd search the internet for some inspiration, although being a California girl, it wasn't all that necessary.

This was all I needed to get my creative juices flowing. I'll keep you posted.

These make me smile...

Even with this pounding headache I can't seem to shake, these little girls bring the biggest smile to my face! They are on a long journey home. I know they will make some little girls smile as well. Happy Wednesday.

Piling Up!!!

These dolls have been piling up on my work table. Still need to put the finishing touches on their sweet faces. And can you believe I still have 6 more to go...whew!!!!
